For used motor vehicles leaving Japan, Garage Ono provides pre-shipment roadworthiness inspections and determines conformity with applicable requirements.
OUR CORE SERVICE
Pre-shipment roadworthiness inspection of used motor vehicles
At approved Garage Ono locations in Japan, we inspect vehicles against applicable roadworthiness standards and determine conformity in accordance with customer and destination-country statutory and regulatory requirements. Certificates of Compliance are issued for conforming vehicles.
Controlled methods and equipment
Inspections follow controlled methods, with results recorded using monitoring and measuring equipment that is calibrated or verified as applicable.
Conformity and certification
Results are assessed against the applicable criteria. A Certificate of Compliance is issued for a vehicle determined to conform.
ADDITIONAL INSPECTION
New and used vehicle visual inspection
Garage Ono also performs visual inspection of new and used vehicles in accordance with the designated process. Inspection points and reporting are defined by the applicable process for each assignment.
